Many of you know me as a Greenville wedding photographer (and I am Greenville born and raised!) but some of you may not know that Ryan and I now technically reside in Spartanburg. We knew when we moved that we’d be making a bit more of a trek down 85 to get to most of our Greenville weddings, but we didn’t know that the tradeoff would be living only minutes away from one of the prettiest wedding venues in Spartanburg – the Clevedale Inn! When I was packing my camera bag for Aarika and Joe’s wedding, I was double checking my list as I always do when I realized that if I forgot something at the house, I could probably send Ryan to go grab it and he’d be back before I even realized he had gone. Maybe I should just shoot here every weekend! 😉
Building on the beautiful backdrop of the historic Clevedale Inn, Aarika and Joe created a day that was elegant, easy-going, and fun. Their wedding had a garden party vibe that was timeless, complemented by a neutral color palette and my favorite detail – Aarika’s dress. Her godmother’s 1990’s gown felt simultaneously classic and fashion forward. A vintage dress can be tricky to pull off, but Aarika did more than just pull it off – she rocked it! Add in lovely weather, spring blooms, sweet and personal vows, and a great dance party to wrap it all up, and… yup, I think we can agree it was the perfect day!
Aarika and Joe, thank you so much for choosing Ryan and me to be a part of your big day. We loved working with you and wish you a beautiful and happy life together!
