Sara and Clayton had a vision for their wedding of a “woodland fairy tale”, and I think that phrase describes their dreamy and romantic day perfectly! Though it threatened rain all day, all we got was a moody sky that made the bright colors in the trees at Viewpoint at Buckhorn Creek pop even more. The color palette was rich and autumnal, and I loved the whimsical, bohemian feel of the bridesmaids’ dresses and flower crowns. Another of my favorite details: Sara wore her grandmother’s locket, with pictures of her grandparents on their wedding day inside. What a special way to carry your loved ones with you down the aisle!
Even though I could go on and on about how lovely the details of this wedding were, Sara and Clayton and the love they have for each other were really what made this celebration so lovely. Sara is sweet and kind and carried herself with such grace and poise on her wedding day (you might be surprised to find out that she’s also secretly a roller derby star… a woman of many talents!), and Clayton is warm and friendly and so loving toward Sara (the looks he was giving her during the ceremony melted my heart!) When you see the way they look at each other, you just can’t help but be happy.
Sara and Clayton – couples like you two make me love my job so much. It was an honor to capture your wedding, and I wish you so much joy and happiness in your life together!
