Library Portraits with Allison

Library portrait session in greenville sc

There is no doubt that Furman is one of the most photogenic places in Greenville, SC. In my time that I’ve been a student here, I can’t count how many brides, seniors, or families I’ve seen posing near the Bell Tower or in the Rose Garden. However, one gorgeous space that photographers don’t often make use of is Furman’s academic buildings – including the James B. Duke library!

So, when Allison and I decided to shoot some portraits together, we wanted to try to take advantage of this beautiful building. We got up early, while all but the most ambitious students were still asleep, and headed over to the library.

Allison poses for a portrait between the aisles in the library.
Allison’s style worked perfectly for this shoot.

There’s some wonderful window light in the back of the library, and I had to grab a few pictures there.

This book charm necklace is so cute, and it worked really well for our theme.
