What is it about Charleston that is just so romantic? I think a large part of it might be the beautiful history that is so evident everywhere you go. There’s nowhere better to start your future with someone than a place with such a sense of the past. Lauren and Jake’s elegant November wedding was a perfect example of this Charleston magic, with a traditional Catholic ceremony at the stunningly beautiful Saint John the Baptist and reception at historic Hibernian Hall. Lauren even carried a bit of her own family’s past by carrying her grandmother’s purse down the aisle, and incorporating a cross charm from her grandmother into her bouquet.
Lauren and Jake – your wedding was so beautiful, and I loved working with you! Thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer, and best wishes for many years of happy married life together.
My second shooter for Lauren and Jake’s wedding was my very talented husband, Ryan! Some of his shots (some of which are my favorites!) are included below.
