Savannah, Georgia is one of those places that just exudes a sense of time and place – the history of the South is so beautifully apparent here, and especially so at the Railroad Museum where Kelli and Nick tied the knot! Nick is a huge history buff, so the two felt right at home, and all of the beautiful distressed brick buildings and old doors and windows created a beautiful contrast with their excellently selected details. As a huge literature fan, I loved the book motif that ran throughout their day as well; their table settings included books, book quotes, and… look carefully… yup, those are drawers from a library card catalog! (I am just old enough that I still remember learning to use those in elementary and middle school, before computerized catalogs really took over.) Kelli and Nick also had the cutest flower girl and ring bearer you’ll ever see… Lola the Husky and Woodrow the Golden Retriever! Don’t miss Woodrow’s excited reaction to when his humans were announced husband and wife.
Kelli and Nick – thank you for letting me a part of your beautiful day, and best wishes to the two of you for a wonderful marriage!
And of course, thanks to my husband Ryan for shooting this one with me!
