From the moment Karissa first contacted me about her wedding at Cokesbury College, I knew it was going to be a great wedding to kick off my 2015. First of all, I am totally in love with Cokesbury as a wedding venue; it’s such a unique space with a sense of history that’s hard to come by in the upstate. Then, Karissa mentioned that she was interested in the fact that I shoot partially in film. I personally always love shooting film, but I get even more excited about it when my clients are excited about it, too!
Karissa and Matt’s wedding was definitely a good fit for film, with all of their sweet moments and artsy details. I especially love the foxes they wove into their decor as a special couples’ symbol, and the handmade paper flowers (Karissa made all of her bridesmaids’ bouquets!) The Sundance Gallery in Greenwood served as a beautiful place to wrap up the day.
Karissa and Matt – thank you for having me as your photographer! You were absolutely wonderful to work with, and I wish you all the best in your life together!
