An alternate title for this blog post could be: “How to have the Perfect Elegant Rustic/Country Wedding”.
Step one: Take two incredibly sweet southern people who are super in love and country through and through.
Step two: Pick a lovely outdoor venue (beautiful dirt roads, a lake and an open-air barn pavilion are a plus.)
Step three: Aim for a date that’s likely to have perfect weather (early March in this case.)
Step four: Get married, play some country tunes and have the time of your lives!
Seriously though, Chris & Crissie’s wedding couldn’t have been a better mixture of southern hospitality, romance, and just a plain good time. Their venue, Mossy Oak Farm in Brooklet, GA, is one of our favorites we’ve seen, with gorgeous barns, tree-lined driveways, and a stunning lake that served as a backdrop for the couple’s ceremony. The weather couldn’t have been prettier, and you could tell that their guests were just so happy to witness these two kind-hearted people finally tying the knot in a day that had “been a long time coming”! A few of my favorite moments from the day included Crissie’s first look with her dad (cue the tears) and Chris & Crissie sharing a moment to hold hands around a door and pray before the ceremony began.
Chris & Crissie – we are so happy for you two and feel so blessed that we were able to be a part of your day! Best wishes to the two of you as you continue on your journey as husband and wife.
