Amanda & Matt // Folly Beach Wedding with Red, White and Blue Details

We’ve photographed over 100 weddings and crossed many things off of our “photo bucket list”, but until this August, one thing still stubbornly remained – a beach wedding! We’d photographed weddings in Pawleys Island, Charleston, Savannah, and plenty of other coastal spots, but never actually gotten to sink our toes into the sand while shooting a wedding. So, when Amanda and Matt contacted us about capturing their Folly Beach wedding, we were so thrilled!

Not only is Folly Beach a beautiful choice for a beach wedding, it also holds special meaning for Amanda and Matt. A few years ago, they met as bridesmaid and best man at Amanda’s cousin’s wedding on Folly Beach – and the rest was history! Not only was the setting for their wedding gorgeous, but I also loved the details they chose – Matt served in the Navy, so red, white and blue attire and decor added a patriotic touch. (I especially loved Matt’s flag bowtie!)

Amanda and Matt – thank you so much for choosing us to capture your day! Everything was so beautiful, and we wish you all the best in this next chapter of your lives together.
